Player of the Week honors go to Pothier and Hendry
<a href=p2256.html>Steffen Pothier</a> of Tampa Bay 
wins his 1st Player of the Week award for dominating 
American League's hitters the entire week. Steffen 
went 2-0 with an ERA of 0.00, while fanning 11 in 16.2 
innings of work. He hurled a shutout as well. This 
season Pothier compiled an ERA of 1.71, going 12-4 
in 20 starts. He fanned 103 while giving up 119 hits 
in 142.1 innings. Steffen has pitched one shutout and 
2 complete games. He's 1st in the American League in 
ERA and 4th in wins! <a href=p1076.html>Charles Hendry</a> 
from San Francisco wins his 1st Player of the Week 
award for putting up the best numbers this week in 
the National League. He had an on base percentage of 
.480 and hit .458, while driving in 9 runs.
